	Preliminary findings of the detailed assessments on potential impacts associated with the W2CP construction and operation on environmental issues such as water catchments and supply, subsidence, flooding, groundwater, flora and fauna, noise, air quality, land use, visual impact, greenhouse gases, and traffic and transportation are available.



	The Project will be subject to a comprehensive environmental assessment process. Final Report released by the Independent Expert Panel.

Minutes

A Community Liaison Committee (CLC) was established by Government as part of the conditions of the original Exploration Licence issued in 1995. It is independently chaired by The Hon Milton Morris AO. Members of the committee include elected and officer members of local Council, relevant State Government departments, unions and representatives from community groups. The Committee meets as required, depending on project stages and as new information is available.

With the Wallarah 2 Coal Project now centring on the western development area and progressing through the planning and approval phase, membership of the Community Liaison Committee has been extended accordingly, as shown in the following table.
